All About Me

• Family - I have five younger brothers and two younger sisters.  I have been married to my husband, Omar, for 15 years.  We have two sons, ages 7 and 10 and a 4-year old daughter.  We have 2 pet fire-bellied toads named Spot and Hopkins.  Our family loves to read, watch movies and play games together.
• Education/Career - I graduated from ASU in 1994.  Between my 2nd and 3rd years of college I spent 10 months overseas on a small island nation called Palau.  I taught Kindergarten and piano lessons while I was there.  This will be my 13th year at Desert Sage.  I taught 4th grade my first year and 2nd grade for the next 11 years.  I look forward to taking on a new grade level this year and am excited to have a few of the students that I had when they were in 2nd grade.  
• Hobbies - I love to read!  I play the piano and love to listen/sing to music!  I scrapbook and love to watch football, especially the Denver Broncos!
